Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed the India Idea Summit. "We all believe that the world needs a better future," he said. Together we have to take the future in this direction. At the center of our agenda should be the poor and the needy.

 Speaking at the conference organized by the US-India Business Council (USIBC), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we need to develop strong domestic capacity to achieve global economic liberalization. Which means it's about to be the most delusional time of the year, as well as the most delusional. At the same time, international trade needs to be diversified.

 India is contributing to a prosperous and strong world. India has given the slogan of a self-reliant India. We are arranging our partnership for this. In the last 6 days we have tried to bring more openness in the economy. We have ensured some improvements in it so that competition, transparency, digitization, innovation can be encouraged and policies can be achieved and made more sustainable.

India is emerging with various opportunities. As per a recent report which says that for the first time in India there are more internet users in rural areas as compared to urban areas. Today the whole world has a positive view of India. In addition to an open system, India is offering the best combination of opportunities and technology. India invites you to invest in healthcare. India's healthcare sector is growing at an annual rate of over 22%. Companies have made significant progress in medical technology, telemedicine and diagnostic products.

Able to shape the world in Indo-US: Foreign Minister
Earlier in the day, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told the summit that the US was learning to work with a multilateral system in the world. America will have to think differently from those with whom it has moved forward in the previous two generations. He said that India and America are capable of shaping the world by working together. We are working with maritime security, counter-terrorism, connectivity, corona, climate change. I think we need to know how we can strengthen the bilateral agenda and move forward.
