In the absence of Chinese app Tiktok, millions of Indians are looking for a new platform to showcase their creativity. With this in mind, Facebook has launched its short video making app Instagram Reels in India. The Reels tab will be a new tab on the navigation bar, replacing the Explore tab in Instagram. The Reels tab is a new tab in the navigation bar so this feature will no longer be in a unit in Explore, as it was before. Through reels you can record and edit 15 seconds of multiclip video and audio.

You can also add value through new effects and creative tools. Photo-sharing platform-Instagram began testing the reels earlier this month. Manish Chopra, Director (Partnerships), Facebook India, said, “India is the first country where we are launching reels. We’ve seen a lot of creativity here.

Hopefully, people will enjoy the reels. Only reels will appear in the team and will have one of the best auto-playing videos. The Explore tab will be found in the top right of your feed in Instagram. The Reels tab will help people find new creators easily.
