UPSC announces schedule for main civil service exams to be held from January 8 to 17 next year
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the schedule for the main examination of Civil Service Services 2020. According to the announcement made by the commission today, the main examinations will be held from January 8, 2021. According to the timetable of UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2020, these examinations will run till January 17, 2021. Candidates who are successful in Civil Service Prelims 2020 will be able to download the schedule of Mains Examination 2020 on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

January 10 Paper 4 General Studies - 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Paper 5 General Studies - 4 from 2 to 5 p.m.
January 16 Indian language from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
English from 2 to 5 p.m.
January 17 Paper 6 Optional Subject-1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Paper 7 Optional Subject - 2 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The result of the prelims was announced on October 24
The UPSC announced the notification for Civil Service Services 2020 in February. According to the announced schedule, the preliminary examination was to be held on May 31. But the date of the exam was extended due to lockdown due to corona epidemic. As per the revised schedule, the examination was held on October 4. The commission released the result of the prelims 20 days after the examination. The DAF forms are then being filled by the successful candidates for the main examination from 28th October, the last date of which is 11th November 2020.
