The central government on Wednesday a announced  r three major plans to boost the economy. It has two announcements pertaining to a the digital economy. One of these is the public a Wi-Fi network access scheme ‘PM Vani’. The aim is to extend the a Wi-Fi network to every village.



Another plan is to a provide 4G network in Arunachal Pradesh and fiber cable in Lakshadweep. At a the same time the self-reliance scheme has also been approved. Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and  Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekara  and Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar gave information at the a press conference.

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said a the islands of Lakshadweep would also be connected with fiber connectivity.a  Connectivity from Cochin to 11 islands of Lakshadweep will be reached in a 1000 days.
