UADAI wrote in a tweet that everyone should be enrolled for support. Even a newborn baby can be enrolled. For this you must have the child's birth certificate and the support of one of the parents.
Biometrics not taken
Let me tell you that biometric data is not taken for child support from 1 day to 5 years. Let me tell you, the biometrics of children up to 5 years of age keep changing. That is why it is not taken. You can update your child when he or she turns 5.
What documents are needed
All you need to create a one-day baby Aadhaar is the baby's birth certificate and one of the parents' Aadhaar card and identity card. With the help of these two documents you can easily create your child's Aadhaar card.
How to do registration
Go to UIDAI website and click on Aadhar Card Registration link.
Download the form there and fill in the child's name, your mobile number, e-mail.
You will then get an appointment to center your Aadhaar card.
Now take all the required documents to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center on the day and time you have decided.
