Ahmedabad's Holi without colors: You can't throw color on anyone, celebrating Holi in micro containment zone will be a crime



The government has banned Holi-Dhuleti celebrations in the state due to increasing Koro transition. Then the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner has issued a notification regarding the dusty celebration in the city. According to the declaration, paint cannot be thrown on pedestrians or vehicles or properties coming and going in public, mud or water mixed with paint or other objects cannot be thrown. Dusty has banned public celebrations and mass events on the day of the holiday.


No celebrations in the micro containment zone

DCP Dr. Harshad Patel said that while more than 200 micro containment zones have been declared in the city, Holi or Dhuleti cannot be celebrated even in the micro containment zones. If someone celebrates a festival, the crime will be recorded.

Holi Dahan has to be completed by 9 p.m.

The announcement allowed for the lighting of the underlying Holi, but police said to be vigilant to ensure that crowds do not gather at the Holi Dahan program and do not violate Corona's guidelines while circumambulating it. As there is a night curfew before nine o'clock at night, the program of Holi Dahan will have to be completed. The notification will come into force from 28th March and will come into force on 29th March till 00.00 hrs i.e. till 12.00 hrs. There will be intensive police patrolling on the city roads during Holi and Ghuleti. Police will take strict action against those who violate the declaration

On March 21, the government conditionally approved the celebration of Holi

Last Sunday, the state government gave conditional approval to the Holi-Dhuleti festival celebrations in the state. In which only a small number of people are allowed to be present to light Holi. While throwing dust on the dust has been completely banned. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said the state could be lit for the Holi puja but public or small Rangotsav programs would not be allowed. In addition, the state has banned the celebration of dust.

Playing Holi is banned

Patel further added that the decision was taken at a meeting of the core committee with the chief minister on Saturday. A limited number of people were allowed to gather for the Holi Dahan, a religious celebration. But playing Holi is not allowed. I am confident that the citizens of the state are aware so no one will play Holi unless there is a transition to Corona. Religiously Holi burning is allowed. All will follow it.


Night curfew was imposed in four metros, including Ahmedabad

The state government has decided to implement night curfew in four metros - Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot from 10 pm to 6 am today, March 17, 2021, in view of the increasing number of corona infections in the state. This arrangement of night curfew will be in force till March 31, 2021. The state government had decided to maintain the previous arrangement of night curfew in all the four metros till Tuesday, March 16, i.e. from 12 pm to 6 am. However, the night curfew in Ahmedabad has been extended from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
