Under which the education department said in the circular, ‘The first examination of standard 9 to 12 is to be taken from 19/3/2021 to 27/3/2021. The marks of this examination are then to be taken into account in internal assessment as well as for class promotion. Since this exam is in the interest of the students, it is necessary for the school principals as well as the teachers to give the students and parents a proper understanding of the exam. '
Students will have to retake the area when the area is freed from the containment zone
At the same time, the circular said, "If the students coming from the containment zone cannot appear for the examination, then when the area of such students is released from the containment zone, the school will issue new question papers for those students." All students will have to retake. In addition, if a school falls in the containment zone, then the area of that school will also be organized from the school level even when the examination is released from the containment zone.
For the first time in the state, new cases of corona are close to a thousand
It is worth mentioning here that the transition of corona in Gujarat is reaching alarming situation day by day. 954 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Thus, for the first time in the state after December 25, i.e. 81 days, the Corona has crossed the 900 level. There are currently 4,966 active cases while 58 patients are on ventilators. A total of 10,162 cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 16 days of March alone. Two more corona deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of corona cases in the state at present is 2,80,051 while the total death toll is 4,427.
