Okha-Madhavpur's 'time' will come now, 7 islands of Saurashtra will be made to compete with Andaman-Nicobar

Government's development plan to attract tourists from abroad

A total of Rs 10 crore is planned to be spent on the study of island development

The island of rivers will also be included in the process of the island

Gaurav Dave / Rajkot: The Gujarat government is making several efforts to develop the tourism sector. Now the Gujarat government has come up with a plan to develop seven islands in Saurashtra. The Authority for Island Development has been created in the state. In the first phase, it has been decided to develop a total of 7 islands in Saurashtra. In particular, all these will be developed like Andaman and Nicobar Islands (gujarat tourism). According to sources in the tourism department, a special Gujarat Island Development Authority has been set up for the development of the Gujarat Islands. A specific policy is being prepared by the state government. A total of Rs 10 crore is planned to be spent on the study of island development. GIDB will decide who will develop the island, who will be assigned the work and how many islands will be developed.

The authority set up by the government will study issues such as tourism development, security arrangements in the island, transportation facilities, port connectivity and biodiversity. Gujarat has got 1600 km long coastline. The government plans to develop this sea island like Andaman and Nicobar. If this plan is successful, people will not have to go far in summer. Because there will also be boat facilities to get to this island. The island will also feature eco-friendly hotels and motels.

Not only the island, these things will also develop

There are gorgeous places like islands not only in the sea but also between some rivers. The island of rivers will also be included in the process of the island. In the first phase, the famous Kabirwad near Piroton, Dwarka, Porbandar, Aliabat, Miyani, Okha, Madhavpur and Narmada rivers of Jamnagar will be developed. The island has potential for development as a tourist destination due to the corals including neem, kathi, mango, acacia and cherry trees as well as light house-lighthouse on the island in terms of accessibility from the New Bedi port near Piroton Island.

Bat Dwarka will throb from the Signature Bridge

Devbhoomi is currently using a boat to reach Bat Dwarka from Okha in Dwarka district. But the signature bridge between Okha to Bat Dwarka is being operated by the state government. Bat Dwarka Island will be throbbing as the bridge becomes. On the other hand, the government has also announced to develop this island. So land prices on Bat Dwarka Island have also started rising from now on. With the development of Dwarka Island, business will flourish and tourists will get all the facilities.

Piroton Island serious issue in terms of security

Piroton Island is included in the Marine National Park and Piroton Island is a serious issue in terms of security. On the other hand, you have to reach the sea by boat. So there are constant tides and tides in the sea. If Piroton Island develops, when and on what date will tourists reach Piroton Island? Thus, developing at first sight on Piroton Island does not fit.
