The second wave of COVID-19 is sweeping across the country and in such a scenario the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued an advisory to the Central Government States / UTs. In which the National Human Rights Commission has issued this advisory under the right to health. In an advisory issued by the National Human Rights Commission, the central government has asked the state government and the union territories to ensure that all people have access to the necessary medicines and equipment along with oxygen. With this it is said that public health facility should be free for all. If a bed is not available somewhere in the public healthcare, it is the responsibility of the health department to arrange a bed for the victim elsewhere.

Will work equally in all government and private hospitals


The Human Rights Commission has asked in its advisory to set up a help desk, which will work equally in all government and private hospitals, through which help will be provided to the victims. The Human Rights Commission has also asked for caps for Kovid-19 essential medicines, oxygen cylinder ambulance service, etc. According to the Human Rights Commission, the Central and State Governments should make their own arrangements. .


Stop black marketing especially in difficult situations


The National Human Rights Commission, in its advice, has instructed the state and central governments to curb black marketing in this dire situation in the country. It has also issued instructions for the funeral of the deceased, saying that the dead should be better cremated and special preference should be given to the use of electric morgues.

Work should be done on the policy of vaccinating all citizens


The Human Rights Commission has called for further acceleration of the vaccination process. The policy of vaccinating all the citizens of the country should be worked out so that the result can be achieved quickly. The commission also asked the Center and the state government to strictly implement the protocol of Kovid-19, which stipulates strict adherence to protocols such as masking, social distance and no crowd gathering in public.
