 According to the above subject and reference, as per point number-4.6 of Chapter-4 (Curriculum and Pedagogy in Schools) of the National Education Policy 2020 “Story-based pedagogy shall be seen as a criteria-based pedagogy” which recommends giving importance to story in education.  In addition, the Government of India has launched a nationwide implementation of the *NIPUN Bharat Mission' to enable students to master basic literacy and numeracy skills as outlined in Chapters 2 and 4 of the National Education Policy 2020. The learning outcomes set under this mission  And the importance of stories in the teaching and learning process has also been accepted, secondly, Gujarat state has decided to celebrate the year 2022-23 as 'Baalwarta Year' and Gijubhai Badheka's birthday on November 15 as 'Baalwarta Din' every year.  is planned.



 As a part of sadar story program, story telling and story writing (making) competition should be organized starting from every school level and up to the district level.  For this, Diet, Principal, DPEO, Governor have to work in coordination.


 District level is requested to make necessary arrangements keeping in mind the following instructions and the duration of the competition involved.  1) Essay competition in all government primary and upper primary schools in the state

Planning has to be made mandatory.  2) This competition will be held in three divisions.

 For students

 3) School level competition Story telling and story writing (making) competition will have to be organized in every school on 15th November.  First, second and third place contestants are to be selected at the school level and only the entry of the first place winner from each section is to be sent to the CRC level.



 4) Cluster (CRC) Level Competition: CRC conducts competitions based on the entries of first rankers from schools for various competitions at cluster level.  The coordinator has to select the first, second and third ranked contestants from the list.  Only the entry of the first rank winner from each section shall be sent for the Taluka (BRC) level competition.  No grant of any kind is provided for Cluster (CRC) level competition.


5) Taluka Level Competition : Based on the entries of the first rank contestants for various competitions held at the taluka level, the first, second and third rank contestants have to be selected from the clusters and among them only the entry of the first rank winning contestant from each section has to be sent to the district level competition.  Taluka level competition is coordinated by Taluka Primary Education Officer and B.R.C.  Will stay with co.

 Essay (Making) Competition (Class 6 to 8)

 Necessary notices

 (1) Five words will be given for conversation.  These five words can refer to a character, place, situation.  Like king, monkey, parrot, market, rain.. Three word groups of five such words will be given.  From which one has to choose a word group, create a story and write it.



 (2) These words shall be written on the board by the contestants at the time of the competition itself.  Using it, the contestant has to create a story of at least fifteen sentences of his own.  (3) A maximum of 20 minutes should be given for story making and writing.  (4) Competitors for this shall be provided by the organizer from the venue of the supplementary competition.


(4) B.R.C.  Words for Level Elocution Competition will be given from District (Diet) level on the day of competition.  .



 (9) State (GCERT) Level (10) Judges' decision on the day of the District Level Elocution Competition will be final.
