General Duties: 1. Must attend school regularly for full time and pay full attention to school work. No private work of any kind can be done during school hours. 2. In case of leaving the school for school work, he and the teachers/staff will be taken care of. 3. Annual Cr under the performance of school teachers/employees. (Private report) will fill and remark. 4. Shall maintain uniformity of work of teachers/staff and shall be responsible for their efficiency and discipline. P. If any case of misconduct or indiscipline is noticed by the teacher/employee of the school, the concerned will be asked to explain. For repeated misbehaviour, the Taluka will report to the Inspector of Education or Taluka / District Primary Education Officer or Administrative Officer. 6. Sanctions the teacher/employee’s casual leave and maintains a record including the grounds thereof. The teachers/employees of the school shall undertake the duties and keep them in the custody of the school. He will make necessary notes in it and get it audited by the competent authority and maintain duplicate services. 8. Prepare the pay bills of the school and send the pay center to the headmaster of the school before such date as the Taluka / District Primary Education Officer / Registrant may specify in this behalf.
9. Deduction of salary of a school teacher on account of unauthorized absence shall be authorized. 10. To ensure that every type of property of the school is properly taken care of and if there is any damage to the property, the same shall be reported to the Administrative Officer / Village / District Panchayat Education Committee / Town Primary Education Committee. 11. He shall be responsible for keeping in safe custody the school fee money or government head money remaining after disbursement of government money or completion of work till the pay center is remitted to the headmaster of the school. (Such fees or money to be remitted by the Headmaster to the Headmaster of the Salary Center School before the end of every month.) 12. The student, teacher, employee or parent of the school will be given copies of certificates, samples, mark sheets as required within the prescribed time limit. 13. He shall perform such other duties relating to elementary education as may be prescribed by the Administrative Officers or he shall act in accordance with the instructions issued relating thereto. 14. The entire management of the mid-day meal scheme of the school will be done by the head teacher. 15. Shall monitor the regular attendance and performance of the School Lunch Manager. 16. Regarding mid-day meal, the work of the teachers has to be shared. 17. Will supervise the preparation of meals as per weekly plan. 18. All the grants received under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan shall be properly spent and the same shall be audited.
