The state government has made an important announcement before Diwali for state employees. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has announced that more than 9 lakh 61 thousand employees-pensioners of the state will be paid 3 months dearness allowance. 30 thousand class 4 employees to Rs. The state government has decided to provide 5% inflation allowance from July 1, 2019

This inflation allowance is paid with salary every month from January 2020. From 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2019, the difference in the total 6-month inflation allowance was to be paid to the state employees and pensioners.

In consultation with Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani, the officers / employees / pensioners will be able to celebrate Diwali in a better way. State government decision to give bonus to employees

Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that the state government has decided to give bonuses to Class-IV employees so that they can celebrate Diwali with enthusiasm in view of the upcoming Diwali festivities. After discussions with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, the state government has given Rs. Diwali gift is given by giving bonus up to 3500 limit. This will benefit state government employees, panchayat employees, employees of university affiliated colleges, employees of non-government schools and colleges and a total of 30,960 class-4 employees of grant-in-aid institutions.

6 months dearness allowance was not paid

Patel said the government's revenue has declined due to corona in the state. Many works were stuck due to Corona.
