Now it is very easy to do business in 15 states, no license renewal is required
The Ease of Doing Business (EODB) reform process has been successfully completed in 15 states. It is now much easier to do business in these states. Executives do not have to renew their licenses here every year. The renewal system has been abolished every year under the amendment. States have also benefited from the adoption of the EODB reform process. These 15 states have been allowed to raise additional loans of Rs 38,088 crore. This has been offered to the states during the Corona period from the Center.
The report must be uploaded within 48 hours
The states that have completed the EODB reform process will have to implement a computerized central oversight system. Under the Acts where the appointment of inspectors takes place centrally. These inspectors will not have the approval of the inspector in the same unit in the following year. The business will be provided with prior notice from the inspection and the inspection will be required to upload the report within 48 hours.

According to the Finance Ministry, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been instructed to amend the EODB. These states are allowed to get more loans from the open market if they get the green light under the Department of Industries and Internal Trade Promotion (DPIIT). Earlier, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Telangana had also instructed to complete the reforms, which was confirmed by DPIIT.
