In the past, we had told about what things are known from the twelve houses. Now we will tell about nine planets and twenty seven constellations here.
The nine planets are respectively Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Although nowadays Neptune, Harshal and Pluto have also been recognized among the planets, but our former sages have not given much importance to them. Out of these nine planets, except Rahu, Ketu, the remaining 7 planets are visible in the sky and Rahu-Ketu are only shadow planets.
The effect of Neptune, Harshal, Pluto remains negligible, all other planets are dominant.
Twenty-seven constellations are considered in Indian astrology, somewhere between Abhijit is considered to be 28, thus since ancient times, 27 and 28 constellations have been considered.
The twenty seven constellations are as follows:
1) Ashwini, 2) Bharani, 3) Kritika, 4) Rohini, 5) Mrigashira, 6) Ardra, 7) Punarvasu, 8) Pushya, 9) Ashlesha, 10) Magha, 11) Poorva Phalguni, 12) Uttara Phalguni, 13) Hasta, 14) Chitra, 15) Swati, 16) Vishakha, 17) Anuradha, 18) Jyestha, 19) Mool, 20) Poorvashadha, 21) Uttarashada, 22) Shravan, 23) Gherdha, 24) Shatabhisha, 25) Poorva Bhadrapada, 26) Uttara Bhadrapada, 27) Revathi.
The above 27 constellations happened. The region of Abhijeet Nakshatra is in the middle of this by including the fourth phase of Uttarashada and 1/15 part of the beginning of Shravan. Its total area is 4 parts 13 Kala 20 Vikala.
The area of each Nakshatra is 13 degrees 20 Kala. In this way 360 degrees are completed in 27 Nakshatras. 1 degree equals 1 hour, 1 kala equals 1 minute and 1 vikala equals 1 second. Thus a constellation is of 13 hours and 20 minutes.
