Zee Media / Bureau: The list of best livable cities in the country with a population of over 1 million has arrived. The central government has released a list of the best cities in the country. Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad are among the top three cities to live in. Importantly, however, three cities in Gujarat have been included in the list. Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara have found a place in the top-10 list. However, the capital Delhi has been pushed back in the list. Delhi could not even reach number 10. Delhi is ranked 13th in the list. The list included 111 cities in the country.

    Ahmedabad - 64.87

    Chennai - 62.61

    Surat - 61.73

    Navi Mumbai - 61.60

    Coimbatore - 59.72

4 cities of Gujarat are included in the top-10

The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Thursday released the Ease of Living Index Ranking 2020 list, which has two different categories. One category is cities with a population of more than 1 million and the other is cities with a population of less than 1 million. Cities with a population of over 10 lakh include Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara. In the list of cities with less than 10 lakh population, Gujarat's capital Gandhinagar is at the seventh position with a score of 56.25. Thus, 4 cities of Gujarat are ranked among the best livable cities in India.

The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Thursday released the Ease of Living Index Ranking 2020 list. The report was released by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh. In which 111 cities across the country participated in the ranking of the best cities eligible to live. Cities are divided into two categories. The first category includes cities with a population of over one million. The second category includes cities with a population of less than one million.
