Very close to making the Johnson & Johnson Corona vaccine, find out what's in progress
U.S. drugmaker Johnson & Johnson has announced the launch of a third phase trial of the covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday. The company's move is expected to launch the vaccine by the end of this year
New Delhi: US drugmaker Johnson & Johnson has announced the launch of a third phase trial of the covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday. The company's move is expected to launch the vaccine by the end of this year. The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) said the trial would try to recruit about 60,000 people in more than 200 locations around the world, including the US. At the same time, Johnson & Johnson became the 10th manufacturer in the world and the 4th in the United States to test a third phase of the vaccine against the coronavirus.
The test will test whether the single-dose vaccine is effective in preventing Covid-19, the company said in a statement. This will be bigger than all the tests ever done on any Covid-19 vaccine. Previously, any vaccine was tested on 30,000 people.
The main feature of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is that it distinguishes it from other vaccines. Johnson & Johnson claims that this may be the first vaccine to eliminate the virus in a single dose.
The corona vaccine will arrive in April next year
Corona vaccine is awaited worldwide amid rising cases of Covid-19. Meanwhile, Robert Redfield, now director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said the coronavirus vaccine would be available to all Americans by April next year. He said his statement was taken incorrectly last week.
"We want to do everything we can to get the vaccine without compromising safety and effectiveness," he said. We will not do this. We need a vaccine to save lives.
