ICAI changed the rule
Under the new provision introduced by ICAI, standard 10 students can now apply for the CA Foundation Course 2020. Previously, the arrangement was only for those candidates who had passed the standard 12 examination.
ICAI President Atul Kumar Gupta said the institute has recently received approval from the Government of India to amend the Chartered Accountants Regulations, Regulations 25E, 25F and 28F of 1988. Accordingly, now after passing the standard 10 examinations, students can enroll in the foundation course of ICAI.
