Cyber Army created by Amit Shah against Anti-Nationals
The government is now preparing to launch its own cyber army on social media or the internet. The government has named him Cyber Volunteer. His job will be to monitor anti-national activities on social media or the internet and report to the government. The government will then take action against the content or post.
Amit Shah, who heads the home ministry, has made the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) the nodal agency for this whole task. The government has started recruiting cyber volunteers. It is currently being piloted in Jammu and Kashmir and Tripura. Only then can it be launched across the country. But for how long? The government has not said everything.
What is Cyber Volunteer ...
We all volunteer in school-college from time to time. This is also the same volunteering. All that is being written and shared on social media or the internet is to see if it is anti-national. If there is anti-national or content that is illegal, this cyber volunteer will flag it. To block someone on social media is to give your opinion. The government will then take action against the post.
So which content would be considered anti-national or illegal?
Generally speaking, any content that is against any law or rule of the government. The Ministry of Home Affairs divides it into 7 categories:
1. which is against the sovereignty or integrity of India.
2. which endangers the security of India.
3. Be dangerous to the security of a state.
4. There is a risk of bad relations with other countries of the country.
5. In violation of government order.
6. which spoils communal harmony.
7. Promoting child pornography.
Anyone can become a cyber volunteer
If you are a citizen of India, you can become a cyber volunteer. For that you have to go to cybercrime.gov.in and login. Going here, you have to give your resume, mobile number, ID proof, address proof. After that you will find three categories here:
1. Cyber Volunteer Unlawful Content Flagger: In it you will have to flag any illegal content that is being posted on social media. This will include posts such as child pornography, rape, gangrape, terrorism or anti-national. 2. Cyber Awareness Promoter: In it you have to spread awareness about cyber crime among the elderly, women, children, people in rural areas. 3. Cyber Expert: It will help you with domains like Cyber Crime, Forensic, Malware Analysis, Network Forensic, Memory, Analysis and Cryptography.
There will also be a strict rule of volunteer
Cyber volunteers may not use this program for personal gain or benefit. They cannot use the name of the Ministry of Home Affairs on any platform from social media. And neither can show itself attached to the Home Ministry. If anyone does so, legal action will be taken against him.
But two questions, which the Home Ministry has not answered
First: What would be the definition of anti-national?
Cyber volunteers will monitor the social media activity of the general public and flag any anti-national content. But what would be the definition of anti-national? The Home Ministry has not said anything about it. Would writing against the government be considered anti-national content.

Second: Under what law will action be taken?
The Home Ministry will take action against the person after the cyber volunteer's report, but under what law? Nothing is clear about it either. So far the government has used UAPA for such cases. Under which action is taken by arresting a person involved in anti-national activities.
