Read the steps given below to apply for a Voter ID online in Gujarat:



Visit the website of Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat. Select “Online Voter Registration” option that is available in the homepage.


As no person is entitled to be registered in the electoral roll of more than one constituency, you must check if your name is in the electoral roll before making a fresh application.

If you select the option to check if your name is present in the electoral roll, you will have to give information like your district name, name, father or husband’s name and age.

If your name is not present in the electoral list, you must make a fresh application. Initially, you will have to register in the portal by providing your name, email id, phone number, address and pincode.

Once you have registered and logged in, select “Form 6 for new Voter Registration” in the page that is being displayed. You will have to enter the EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) number of your family member or neighbourhood.

Form 6 for registration of your name in the Voter ID will be displayed on the screen. You will have to enter information like your name, address, date of birth and details of other family members whose name has been enrolled in the electoral list.

After you submit the form, you will also have the option to upload documents like address proof and age proof. You will receive a copy of the pdf file which you have to save and take a print out.

You must submit the copy of printout in the nearest Election Commission office by post. After verification, the new Voter ID will be sent to you by post to your registered address.

 Matters regarding admission of students in Model School and Model Day Schools for the academic year 2022-23

 Following are the guidelines for admission in Model School for Model School and Model Day Schools for the academic year 2022-23 for the . As the entrance examination in the model school is not possible as per the RTE Act, the students will have to prepare the merit list on the basis of their previous standard marks and give admission.  (Merit list should be prepared on the basis of Std-08 mark sheet for admission in Std-8, Merit list should be made on the basis of Std-08 mark sheet for admission in Std-08.  Enrollment of children who have obtained more than marks should be done in Model School and Model Day Schools.  Model Day School will not have to admit more than 50 students per class (Std. 09 to 08) and 40 students per class (Std. 09 to 12). 3. In educationally backward talukas where Model School and Model  The first admission should be given to the students of the same taluka as the day schools.  Students will have to be admitted as per the reservation of the district fixed by the government and in this regard the existing rules of the social welfare department will have to be followed.

 .  If the number of students for the reserved space is not sufficient then the students of other categories will have to be admitted from the merit list.  7. The accreditation of the school from which the students come for admission should be obtained from the office of the Director of Primary Education if it is a primary school and if it is a secondary higher secondary school then it should be obtained as per the provision specified by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

 - Matter of registration on Vidyanjali portal under Vidyanjali program.  Vidyanjali is a special initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to develop schools across the country through the Vidyanjali program, which connects schools with the community / community and the private sector.  The Vidyanjali program will connect schools with various volunteers such as young professionals, school alumni, in-service and retired teachers / government officials / professionals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and all others.  A portal has been prepared by the Ministry of Education, Government of India for the implementation of this program.  The portal can be accessed through the website https://vidyanjali.education.gov.in.  The school will have to register itself on the Vidyanjali portal along with its primary information.  After registration, the school will have to post a request for the required external assistance with details of service / activity or assets / materials / equipment.  Volunteers who are registered on the portal will show their interest on the portal for requesting service / activity or assets / materials / device based on the request post.  The school will authorize the volunteer to participate in the service / activity or assets / materials / equipment.  The service under the Vidyanjali program i.e. Yoga, Art & Craft, Vocational Education, Language Education, Assistance to Children with Special Needs, Request Post for help in preparation like Competitive Exams.

 Guidelines The new education policy seeks to transform all levels of education in India through the active participation of society as well as the private sector in achieving its goals and objectives.  The various chapters of NEP-2020 emphasize the participation of society as well as volunteers.  The Department of School Education and Literacy of the Ministry of Education has re-launched the Vidyanjali web portal https://vidvanjali.education.gov.in/cn with improvements.  The new Vidyanjali portal will help social volunteers to directly contact and engage in their knowledge and skills as well as contributing material resources in the government and government aided schools of their choice.  Therefore, the volunteer will evaluate the eligibility of the contributor according to the procedure outlined in this guide.  A detailed guide to the Vidyajanli web portal is attached herewith.  This guide provides detailed information about the categories for contributions, methods, role of schools, role of volunteers, role of nodal officer, code of conduct, special guidelines for states, territories and autonomous bodies as well as termination of services.  Also included is a list of categories for contributions to services / activities and contributions for assets / materials / equipment, Appendix-1 and Appendix-II, respectively.  In addition, you will be able to get detailed user manuals for school, district and regional nodal officers and volunteers from the portal.  After studying the above details and the accompanying guide, appendix and user manual, all government and aided schools in your district are requested to immediately register on the Vidyanjali web portal as well as to make extensive use of the portal.

 The role of the volunteer i.  Volunteers can register as individuals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or organizations (other than NGOs) on the Vidyanjali web portal mobile app and complete the profile by providing a mobile number and email id.  il.  The volunteer will be able to find the desired school based on the state, district, block and school name.  The volunteer will be able to see the onboarding status of the school and the contribution requests made by the school.  iii.  List of Contributions: Based on the request list posted by the school, the volunteer can find school requests based on his / her area of ​​interest / interest or assets and materials that he / she is willing to contribute.  iv.  Application for Contribution: After examining the details, the volunteer may decide to apply for the activity of contributing assets and materials to a particular school based on his / her area of ​​interest.  Volunteers may be interested in making a partial / full contribution to the schools' request.  V.
