The
incidence of coronavirus is increasing day by day. On an average, around 1,300
new cases are coming to Gujarat every day. Currently in cities like Rajkot and
Jamnagar, Korona has become uncontrollable. In the midst of all this Navratri
(Gujarat Navratri 2020) is coming. The biggest concern of the players as well
as the organizers (Garba Organizers) is whether Navratri will be organized or
not. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel (Dy CM Nitin Patel on Navratri 2020) has
made a big statement in this regard. Addressing the media at Gandhinagar, Patel
said the government was considering the matter. From Nitin Patel's statement,
it seems that the government may allow Navratri with some rules. One thing to
note here is what the guidelines of the central government will be. According
to the final guideline of the central government, 100 people can attend an
event with masks and social distance.
Addressing the media at Gandhinagar on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said, "Navratri is very important for Gujarat. People have been waiting for Navratri for a long time. Khelaiyyas are eager to sing Garba. Garba and Navratri are the identity of Gujarat in the world. The Gujarat government also organizes Vibrant Navratri festival every year in which a large number of people participate. "
Nitin
Patel further said, "At a time when the country is battling a serious
epidemic of corona, the government is considering how long, how many people and
how people can play garba within the guidelines of the Supreme Court, Gujarat High
Court and the Government of India." This will be announced in due course.
The government also understands the religious significance of Navratri. "
It
may be mentioned that the central government has announced guidelines for
opening schools from 9th standard to 12th standard from September 21. Students
will be able to come to school of their own free will. In this regard, Nitin
Patel said that there is not much clarity in the guidelines of the central
government. No decision has been taken by the state government on the matter
yet.
On
the Congress party's allegation that the BJP has acted as a spreader for the
spread of Corona in the state, Nitin Patel said, "I do not see any caste,
party or religion of Corona." Corona has infected leaders of both the BJP
and the Congress.
