New Delhi: Online fraud is on the rise. E-commerce companies started a festive sale from Jor Shore last week. But despite all the arrangements, a case of fraud with users is coming up. The latest case has come from Delhi. A Delhi customer bought a new Redmi 8A Dual smartphone from Amazon India during a facial sale. But the customer found the laundry soap in the retail box of the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone.
According to our partner website BGR.in, Naman Vaish, a resident of Delhi, mentioned the incident on his social media account Twitter. He said he ordered a Redmi 8A dual smartphone during the Amazon Great Indian Sale. When the shipment reached his house, his senses flew and he found Rin soap worth Rs 14 from the retail box of the phone.
There has been a reaction from Amazon on this fraud during the Amazon India Sale. Speaking to 91mobiles, Amazon India said, “As a customer-centric company, we are careful to deliver packages safely to all our customers. We have investigated the incident and announced a replacement for Byers. Amazon also regrets the inconvenience caused to buyers.
Buyers often fall prey to this type of fraud when shopping online. Recently, a customer of Bhavya Sharma shared a video on YouTube saying that he had ordered an iPhone 11 from an online shopping platform. He was given a clone delivery of the iPhone 11, although it runs on the Android platform.
