IDBI Bank launches WhatsApp banking, now balances and mini statements can be viewed on mobile at home
The customer has to contact the bank to start this facility on his mobile number

IDBI Bank has launched a banking service for its customers on WhatsApp. All customers will now be able to easily access basic banking services through this facility. To avail the benefits of WhatsApp banking, the customer has to save the bank's WhatsApp number in their phone and give their WhatsApp number to the bank. The bank will then launch this feature on your WhatsApp number. You have to contact the bank to start this facility on your number.

WhatsApp banking service will provide customers with necessary banking services like account balance information, last 5 transactions, applying for check book, statement by e-mail, interest rate as well as information of nearest IDBI bank branch and ATM. This facility can be availed 24 hours a day (24 x 7).
ICICI Bank has also launched this service
ICICI Bank has also recently expanded WhatsApp banking services for its customers. The bank's customers will now be able to avail FD, bill payment and trade finance related services through WhatsApp banking. For this you have to send a message through WhatsApp from the mobile number registered with the bank to the verified number of the bank (86400 86400).
What services will customers get?
Retail customers can now invest in FDs on WhatsApp.
Electricity, cooking gas and postpaid mobile phone bills can be paid.
Corporators and MSME owners can access information related to trade finance.
