Indian Railways will prepare another chart half an hour before the train departs, so that if the seats are vacant at the last minute, some people can be allotted seats and travel on their own. However, a second chart was prepared two hours earlier due to coronavirus infection in the last few months.
There will also be a refund if the ticket is canceled
According to a statement issued by Indian Railways, the second reservation chart will be ready half an hour before the train departs. In the meantime, if the train ticket is canceled, a refund will be given. This will bring relief to passengers whose plans change at the last minute and whose train tickets have to be canceled.
The new ticket booking rule has come into effect from October 10. The IRCTC has not changed the rest of the online booking rules. According to railway officials, passengers have to arrive at the railway station two hours earlier.

The first IRCTC chart before Corona was issued 4 hours before the train started. Tickets for the remaining seats could be booked from the ticket counter. Even half an hour ago, tickets were available at the counter.
Tickets could also be booked online before the second chart was prepared. These meetings were held on an earlier basis. A second reservation chart will now be prepared in all zones of the railway half an hour before the train starts. This has been done for the convenience of the passengers.
