CBSE: Board orders all schools to conduct 9th-11th standard annual examinations, new academic session to start from April 1
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all its schools to conduct 9th and 11th standard annual examinations. In this regard, the Board has issued a notification to start a new academic session from April 1. Also, the board said that during the 9th and 11th standard exams, it will be necessary to follow all the rules of safety from Corona.
Practical and theory will help in exam preparation
Students will have to prepare for face-to-face classes, the board said in its announcement. Which will help them in preparing for practical and theory exams. In addition, the board has advised teachers to eliminate student dubbs and to close study gaps caused by online classes. The board has asked all schools to act in accordance with the guidelines.
The CBSE exam controller wrote a letter to the schools
In a letter to the principals of all the schools, CBSE Controller of Examinations Samyam Bhardwaj said, "It will be easier to know how much the students have been harmed by these exams." Effective steps can be taken in the new session to address this. Also, the help of a bridge course can be taken. He also said that strict measures should be taken to prevent corona while conducting classes and taking exams.
10th-12th standard board exams will start from 4th May
This year CBSE board 10th and 12th standard examinations will start from 4th May. The 10th standard exams will run till June 7, while the 12th standard exams will run till June 11. Also, the result of the examination will be declared by 15th July 2021. Apart from this, practical examinations will be held from 1st March to 11th June 2021.
