The launch of most of the BS6 models of Indian bikes has stalled. The company released a price list of Scott, Vintage, Springfield, Chieftain and Roadmaster family bikes just last year. However, most of these bikes are not being launched due to Covid-19.

But recently the Indian chief brand has started booking 2022 chief models. At the same time, its starting price has also been announced. These models will be launched in India soon. These three models include Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark House and Super Chief Limited. Which will also be paired with returning FTR range trains.

Engine with roadmaster in all three bikes of Indian Chief

Three of the six models of the Global 2022 Indian Chief Line-up have been brought to India. All three bike models are powered by a Thunderstroke 116 motor engine. The engine is already available in vintage, springfield, chieftain and roadmaster models of bikes sold in India.

These three models include Dark Horse, Chief Bobber Dark House and Super Chief Limited. Their starting price can start from around Rs 20.75 lakh. This will close the gap of about Rs 9 lakh between the Rs 16.20 lakh Bobber Twenty sold in India and the Vintage priced at Rs 25.80 lakh.

The Indian Chief will get the FTR range

This is a completely new bike in the FTR range. Brambo brakes that will be fully adjustable with chassis suspension FTR packs. The engine capacity will be 1,203cc. You will get a 4.3 inch TFT touchscreen display. Three ride modes will be added electronically with IMU. It has a 19-inch wheel. The model is expected to be available by August at a cost of around Rs 17 lakh. The FTR range is expected to fetch up to Rs 15 lakh.
