Mobile to Sports Drawing Competition

Respect. By the Chief Minister, Ta. On 1/10/2020, a new initiative of Mobile to Sports campaign has been launched with the aim of empowering the youth of Gujarat with yoga and physical strength with the use of current mobile technology.

In the face of the current Corona (Covid-19) epidemic, there is an urgent need to focus on sports activities to positively activate the youth who are wasting precious time in activities like Facebook, Bratus App, Instagram and video games. The Government has approved a new scheme of Mobile to Sports during the year 2020-25 with a view to improve the physical and mental development of the youth.

The scheme will attract youngsters for sports activities by introducing details of famous players, audio-video clips through mobile to sports Facebook page YouTube channel, radio quiz, drawing competition, television as well as social media related media.

To achieve this objective, a drawing competition has been jointly organized by the office of Gujarat State Academy of Fine Arts under the Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities and the offices of the District Youth Development Officer. In which children of 8 to 13 years (birth should be counted on 31/12/2021) can participate.

The contestant has to prepare his work on the subject of "Rakshabandhan" on A-4 size drawing paper and send it to the office. The winner will be awarded Rs. 25000 / -, the second winner Rs. 15000 / -, the third winner Rs. 10000 / - and the remaining seven winners Rs. 5000 / - (each). All the winners will be given a drawing kit The kit will be provided.




Rules of Mobile to Sports Drawing Competition

This drawing competition should be held on the theme "Rakshabandhan".

District level works related to this competition should be accepted from 23/08/2021 to 13/09/2021 for 12 hours in the afternoon. It should be prepared at home and sent to the office of the District Youth Development Officer of that district.

The District Youth Development Officer will have to get the Aadhaar card as well as the Xerox of the first page of the bank passbook as proof of the age of the artist along with this picture.

Picture 3 Selected and sent to the office of District Youth Development Officer, Ahmedabad by 18/09/2021. Delayed image will not be accepted.

A total of 123 paintings selected from 41 districts will be selected by the District Youth Development Officer, Ahmedabad from a painting expert who has been awarded the Pride Award in the field of painting.

The state level painting competition will be organized by them by selecting the artists of the best 10 paintings selected by the judges. On 24/09/2021 at the office of the District Sports Officer, Ahmedabad, the contestant has to report to the District Youth Development Officer by 11 am.

Competition time will be from 12 to 5 hours. All 10 contestants will be introduced to the theme of the drawing competition at the time of competition.
