An Ahmadabad-based agency , Gensol Engineering, has claimed that it is working on a plan to supply electric cars to workers for all over Rs 6 lakh. The agency is going to obtain an American startup to make electric cars. This startup will be donor technical expertise to Gensol to making electric cars. latest , the cheapest electric car in India is the Tata Tigor, and that costs Rs 12.4 lakh.

Gensol has told investors that it wants to set up a research and growth center for robotic growth and plans to start creating in Pune in 2023. The Pune plant will be initially have a capacity to making 12,000 cars yearly . The agency will be appoint at least 150 automobile engineers and making for this venture. Jaggi, the managing director of Gensol, told case control that he would invest Rs 250-400 crore in this venture.
