The requirement to present a claim in an affidavit form has also been deleted

The government had earlier doubled payments under unemployment benefits for the period from March 24 to December 31, 2020


The government has provided relief to people suffering from unemployment due to the Koro epidemic. It has been decided to allow scanning copy of documents like online process and support as well as bank account details for making claims under Atal Vima Vyakti Kalyan Yojana. If a beneficiary cannot upload the document at the time of online claim, he / she will have to submit his / her print outs.



Removed condition for submission of claim from affidavit form

The condition of filing a claim in the affidavit form has also been removed. A statement issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment said, "Analyzing the response of the beneficiaries of the scheme, it was found that the condition of filing a claim in the affidavit form gives inconvenience to the claimants." Therefore, this condition has been deleted.

Those who lose their jobs during the Coronation Age will benefit twice as much


Earlier, the government doubled payments under unemployment benefits from March 24 to December 31, 2020. In other words, those who lost their jobs were offered a 50% benefit of three months' average salary, up from 25% previously. The Atal Vima Kalyan Yojana run by ESIC has been extended till June 30, 2021 to benefit the workers.

What is the plan?

Allowances were given to those who were unemployed under this scheme. Unemployed person can get this allowance for 3 months. Can claim 50% of the average salary for a total of 3 months. Aga used to get the benefit 90 days after being unemployed, which has now been reduced to 30 days.


Benefit on salary up to Rs. 21,000

ESI benefits employees working in private companies, factories and factories. An ESI card is made for it. Employees can avail this scheme on the basis of this card or documents brought from the company. ESI benefits employees with a monthly income of Rs 21,000 or less. However, in case of PWD, the income limit is Rs. 25,000.

How can you avail the benefits of the scheme?

ESIC employees can apply for this by visiting any branch of ESIC. The application will then be confirmed by ESIC and the amount will be credited to the account of the concerned employee if it deems it appropriate.
