Zee Media / Bureau: Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Nitin Patel is presenting Gujarat State Budget 2021 in the Legislative Assembly today. Nitin Patel is presenting the budget for the 9th time as the Finance Minister. As per the estimates for the year 2021-22, the budget of Gujarat has been shown to be an overall surplus of crores. An estimate of Rs 2,27,029 crore has been submitted.
Announcement in Budget 2021:
Provision of Rs. 15 crore for planting of two lakh lotus fruits in 50 km around Kevadia
The Mehsana-Bhatinda and Bhatinda-Jammu gas pipeline projects worth Rs 7,300 crore under the National Gas Grid are in the final stages. Provision of Rs. 8411 crore for subsidy to farmers in Vijbil. Provision of Rs.1000 crore for Kisan Suryodaya Yojana
For the first time in the state, a community radio station will be set up with the help of the government to disseminate the tribal culture, art and folklore at Kevadia, which is famous all over the world for the Statue of Unity.
Provision of Rs. 90 crore for installation of more than 2000 CCTV cameras in 41 cities of the state and Rs. 36 crore for e-Gujkop project.
Provision of Rs. 50 crore for procurement of 876 new vehicles to intensify patrolling of police system. Provision of Rs. 15 crore for modernization of Gandhinagar FSL

A bulk drug industrial park will be set up at Jambusar in Bharuch. Rajkot will be a medical device industrial park
Approval to create new member residence complex for legislators. The annual grant of Rs 1.5 crore given to MLAs for their constituencies will be resumed

A provision of Rs 100 crore has been made to bring investment in Gift City.
3511 crore has been provided for women and child development department in the state. Provision of Rs.500 crore to provide assistance to 3 lakh beneficiary widows under Ganga Swarupa Economic Assistance Scheme. Provision of Rs. 220 crore under Purna Yojana for 11 lakh 76 thousand adolescents aged 18 to 19 years of the state.
Government plans for new metro services like Metro Light-Metro Neo in Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar. Provision of Rs. 568 crore for Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat Metro Rail
1 lakh new houses will be constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by 2022. Provision of Rs. 1250 crore for housing: Provision of Rs. 564 crore for MGNREGA. Provision of Rs. 900 crore for 55 thousand new houses in urban areas.
Provision of Rs. 1207 crore for five years to develop all the required facilities in 3400 schools of the state. Provision of Rs. 1044 crore for mid-day scheme to about 5 lakh children from standard one to eight. Under the Right to Education, a provision of Rs 567 crore has been made for students seeking admission in private schools in the state. Under Mukhyamantri Swavalamban Yojana, provision of Rs. Provision of Rs. 205 crore for ST bus pass to more than 11 lakh students, provision of Rs. 200 crore for giving tablet to students entering the first year of college. Three lakh students will be given tablets. Provision of Rs. 20 crore for the scheme to set up infrastructural facilities for the purpose of providing excellent residential education to Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Model School and Ashram Schools. Provision of Rs. 60 crore for transportation facility to more than one and half lakh children whose home distance is more than one kilometer from school.

No provision of Rs.1349 crore for tribal area. A provision of Rs. 3 crore has been made for the benefit of 27200 hectare area in Ukai Water Management based Songadh Uchhal Nizar and Kukarmunda talukas. Under this scheme Songadh Uchhal Nizar Pipeline will be planned. Irrigation benefits will be provided in Mangrol and Mandvi talukas by completing Kakrapar Gorgha pipeline project at a cost of Rs. 590 crore in Surat district.
The first phase of Sauni scheme has been completed, the second phase has been completed to a large extent. A provision of Rs 1,071 crore has been made for the third phase. Under the Sujalam Sufalam scheme, water will now be supplied to 295 lakes within a 3 km radius of the pipeline, for which a provision of Rs. 10 crore has been made.

Fruit and vegetable products can be sold directly on the basis of natural farming. Provision of Rs. 81 crore has been made for setting up of dairy farms for milking cattle for employment at village level. A provision of Rs. 43 crore has been made for one veterinary hospital per 10 villages. High improvement for Gaushala or Panjrapol which provides Rs. 3 crore for Gauseva and Gauchar Development Board to operate various schemes. Provision of Rs 150 crore for benefit of VAT waiver scheme on 10000 fishermen on high speed diesel oil
The budget provided Rs 4548 crore for the revenue department. Provision of Rs. 3 crore for construction of various offices and staff quarters under revenue department in 16 districts.
